plugs under the seat

just found a plug under the seat (driver and pass.) that doesn't connect to anything... was pulled out i guess. where does it go? what does it do when connected?

what does the plug look like???? how many wires???? how many pins on the actual plug??? maybe : car phone/speaker, maybe mp3/mini disc player?? , maybe amp/s? who knows need more specs...

I've got the same plug in my R33 GTS.....but like above it isn't connected to anything....

Someone must know what it is???

It's the indicator that shows your seatbelt is not plugged in. (couldn't think of a better way of describing it)

The reason you don't have anything connected to it now is because you have aftermarket seatbelts that were fitted so that your car would comply to Australian Standards.

If you look at the seats that get sold in import wreckers you will see that the seatbelts have a wire and plug coming from them

i was lookin at it one day and i thought "maybe this is for the seat belt warning light!"

and i was right :shake:

ahhhh...... thanks for that... but i thought they were the seat belt pre-tensioner thingies that help keep your seat belts 'proper fitting'?
