Another aftermarket R33 front bar question.

Hi again.

I have just pulled off my modified M-Spec. front bar ready to fit my aftermarket bar. Under where the standard bar sat, there is a bracket coming off the chasis in the shape of the standard bar, to which the standard front bar was bolted. Now, can this be removed or is it part of the chasis or something? If I remove it, how else can I mount my afttermarket front bar?

Also, at drift days and whatnot I always see cars having their front bars taken off in a matter of seconds. Is this just good hands, or quick release bolts or something?
