The Line blew the ignition fuse, dodgey wiring for the boot solenoid on my behalf, anyway I used the 4WD fuse to replace it till i got another one. The next morning I went through a round about and the back kicked out and I heard that strange sound of wheels squeeling, generally only heard on a rev limiter start. Anyways at the next set of lights heart thumping looking for cops making sure I wouldn't get caught the line easily squeeled first and second through the intersection (don't bother reply with any responsible driver you shouldn't be doing that crap, 99.9% of the time I am). That was the end of my experimenting and the fuse is replaced. Anyways I always thought your couldn't simply interupt the circuit to turn a 33 GTR into 2WD only, but it seems you can. Someone did mention that doing so may wear the clutch plates in the transfer case as in 33 they are always slightly engaged as opposed to a 32 where they aren't. Anyone know anything else??????

I removed my fuse out in interest one day to compare.

I was pretty sure I was losing quite a bit of acceleration even when you couldn't hear any loss of traction from the rear tyres.

Doesn't take much to lose traction though. I could feel the rear of the car squirming around in 2WD.
