Rust bubble advice

[NJR 34GTT]

Found a very small rust bubble at the top of my high mount brake light on my 34. Apparently a very common problem as the water tends to sit around it.

Suggestions how to treat this to prevent it spreading any further. Preferrably without doing any damage to the surrounding paintwork if possible.

i'v got the same .. thing in there rear high mount break light .... i will do some body work + paint job .. to prevent the spreading ...

but any idea how to prevent it in future ..???

It may sound stupid but every so often (I used to do it every 2 months on my Datsun 180B) spray some inox around the car, try to get it into all the little nooks and crannies and not on the outside of the car!!
