Mase
Im just wanting to know if the early silver top rb20det's coil packs have the same voltage and ampage as the later model silver top rb20det coil packs. I have the onevia with a late model 32 engine in it, and the laurel. The laurel's engine differs in a couple of ways, ignitor pack different, afm diff, coil pack plugs diff, cas diff. I want to put my F.E.T high capacity coil packs in the laurel so i will need to cut and solder them as the plugs are different. But i want to make sure they all pump the same voltage and receive the same current etc so i don't wreck anything. cheers Jayson :spcartman Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/54860-coilpack-voltagesamps/ Share on other sites
sweetr33
depending on where u cut n solder they will recieve the same current/amps as the resistance before the coil is still the same. I cant imagin there would be much drama with this but i would look into getting splitfire coils for it. Less hassle then.
