Guys, my insurance company said i can get rims how ever they have to be the legal size i have gone to the RTA website and the restrictions are on the following link....

that shows what sizes i can go up too, just wondering if anyone can help out

on a stock r33 gtst mspec am i allowed to put 18s?

Any feed back would be appreciated. :wassup:

From memory as long as the overall diameter of the fitted tyre does not change by more than 15mm then it is legal.

Yeah scan it in, for some reason (dodgy compliance I'm guessing) my R33 has an R32 GTSt tyre placard. It doesn't cause me any problems atm as I have 17x8 DriftR's with Falken ZE512 235/45ZR17s on it, I'd just like to have the right placard if I could.

By the way, is there any reason 17's aren't an option? Tyres are a little bit cheaper, you can go slightly higher profile so it'll ride nicer and, if you choose your wheels carefully, don't "look" an inch smaller than many 18s. Hint: buy wheels with dish :rofl:
