Mitsubishi GSR/EVO Club is holding a Dyno Day on 7th Nov 2004.

9.30am for 10am first car, goes all day.

Location is at Graham West Workshops (4WD dyno) which is located on 668 Marion Rd, Parkholme.

Approx 35 cars will be the limit at this point. The AWD dyno that was operating at Adelaide Autosalon will be used. Naturally, FWD and RWD cars will run on this as well. We are hoping to have a big screen running and get the press involved as well.

Trophy cataglory will be best 4WD, best FWD, best RWD, best N/A, highest overall power and lowest power.

$45 to enter. Includes a print out of your chart with your photo.

We want to make this a big event.

If you plan on entering, please email [email protected] to reserve your spot. Otherwise just come on the day and join the queue.

BBQ Lunch available. Finishes 4pm.

Remember other clubs are also being invited.

prety good turn out. Evo/gsr club member are friendly.

meet john and seen his new Evo 8 (yes, again.. :) )

3 skylines, R32GTR x1, R33 GTR x 2

spot FBI's FFFFFFFFAT veiside R33 GTR, pull 37xkw@wheel with only 1.2bar.

A white R33 GTR, with a pair of 2530s, pull 36xkw@wheel, also 1.2 bar.

did a 167rwkw :goddam:, quite a big different to the previous 180rwkw, But i am not those people care about dyno figure as i under standard different dyno read different.

but then when i read the dyno sheet carefully i found that the my peak power arrive at about 4-5000 rpm and it drop to 150rwkw at close to red line, which seems very abnormal when i compare to the previous dyno sheet.

Hopeful nothing major... :bat:

anyway i took a few photos, enjoy

Maxx.

Its probably the boost controller.

Make sure its in Auto mode otherwise it will most probably drop boost in the higher rpm's.

Thats what my Blitz EBC did anyhow.

In Auto mode you set the PSI you want. In Manual mode (which drops boost) its a percentage of max boost or something.. i.e it reads 42 or 32 or what ever.

Auto mode has a learning time frame when first set. It learns the boost curve and adjusts the duty cycle to suit. The manual mode simple sets the solanoid to half closed ot fully closed (unlimited boost) and thats it. This is why it drops boost. Up higher RPM's the duty cycle may be required to be smaller than the mid range.
