Replacing Lifters

Anyone know what is required to change the lifters, i've got a vg30 but i'm pretty sure it will be the same set up as an rb20/25. I've looked at the tutorial listed in a post here but from memory last time i had my rocker cover off the cam lobes seemed to sit directly above the lifters, so do i need to remove camshaft to replace lifters.

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah you'll have to remove the camshafts.

I'd wait until you can get your hands on a engine manual.

Pretty big job.
