Just wondering how much, if any, black smoke you guys get when taking off and boosting? I always let my engine warm up with a couple minutes of driving before pulling her reins a little.. and I've just had a service done a couple of weeks ago and a compression test for that matter, though I have noticed some black smoke (a decent amount, though not billowing) in my rear view mirror when I give it a bit of stick.

I'd imagine that naturally a whole bunch of gases would be being produced under those conditions, yet I'm not sure whether a little cloud of black smoke is the norm.

Most turbo'd cars will vent fuel smoke when coming on boost, your tune will also greatly determine the amount of smoke. Lack of a cat also adds to the issue ;) My GTR spits out a fair bit of black smoke, but I'm running it slightly rich for safety...

Black smoke is good, white on the other hand is naaasty.... :P

Cheers
