i put motul 4100 turbo light in like 100kms ago so i cant really notice anything different yet and probably wont but as long as it keeps the car healthy i will be happy

Turbolight is nothing like the 300v series, turbolight is basically mineral oil compared to 300v

I beleive 300v better suits high output turbo engines primarily because thats what it was designed for, while mobil 1 and castrol R etc are good, they're still designed for mass use in any vehicle

300v series was designed and developed especially for racing conditions

Read the back of a 300v oil can after you just spent $40 for 2L and youll understand :D

i never said it was like the 300v stuff i know its not i was just stating thats what i use and unless he has a 250 + rwkw and takes it to the track he wont need the 300v. you cna always put better stuff in but unless its for a specific application eg track work its a bit of overkill

Because Motul say its made for racing, its better...LOL... Every person, every workshop claims the oil they use is better.

Best rule is to use good oil and filter and change regularly. Outside of that i dont think there is that much difference. One are i know where the Mobil is better then other oils is in its temperature stability. Throw on an oil temp gauge then go for a hoon and watch oil temps. Mobil 1 is a lot more stable then Castrol R and Repsol oils. A firned trialled a whoel bunch of oils, only really commenting on oil temps at the track, and the Mobil was the best.

OUtside of that, i dont KNOW, other then Mobil 1 served me well . Right now as i cant find the grade of Mobil 1 i like im usign Castrol R and hoping that my oil cooler is up to the job

Oils ant Oils. Well according to a Shell Lab Rat friend of mine, She said really the difference between the mineral and Synthetic oils is hardly any. Now thats in LAB and in controlled conditions.

As said change every 5000Ks and a good filter will do the trick to keep the Turbo Beast running for many Ks.

:thankyou:

Thats not what i meant, but still yes to that statement :D

300V is the only ester synthetic i know of, it makes 300v in a class of its own

and they now have double ester technology, i read the brochure for it and ive never seen so many explained benefits from just using 300v

each to his own i guess
