ahh the Tommy Kaira RS-01

The RB26DETT from R34 GTRs were used and enlarged to 2699cc to make an RB27DETT and mounted midship. I think Nissan Japan had a little involvement in this car.

This 2.7L puts out:

404Kw (550ps) @ 7300rpm

534.5Nm (54.52kg.m) @ 6000rpm

whats the car called?

i think it was renamed the autobacs RS-01, but ive also seen it called the Tommy Kaira ZZ2

it has a top speedof 300kph and does 0-100 in 2.18-2.5s

Yeah the RS-01 weighs below 1 tonne (more specifically around 600 - 700kg)

the power to weight and balancing of the vehicle is amazing

ditto, always thought it faced forward. seems kinda strange to mount it backwards concidering the positioning of the 4WD gear box and other components
