Fuel pump question

Hi,

I have a quick question, I'm running a rb20t in my sil and i still have the stock ca18t fuel pump...is this gonna take any power away and is it bad for the engine?

no it shouldnt be bad 4 it but it would be the first thing i upgrade though as itll starve it with any mods go straight 4 a gtr pump or an 044 in tank asap both cost bout 350 cheaper if u ring round and bullshit a bit with a recker, almost bolt in need to mod the braket(cut the end of and clamp to the rest of the braket. it is also recommened that u up grade ur wiring to the pump 2 not sure why???? i work at bunnings im no mechanic but i did most of the conversion myself after i bought the car smashedand had to replace everythin talk bout pain in da ass

yep i should have a nippon denso pump in there in a few weeks, wat about the performance side would it b affecting it?

no really affect performance but if u r gettin a new pump neway dont worry to much bout it, if it was still the standard pump then id add a fuel pressure reg 2 itjust so u dont starve the rail when makin more poweror addin more boost
