Front Wipers Not Working - Help!

Hi Guys,

I went to drive to work this morning and my damn front wipers werent working. I checked the fuses under the dash and it was ok. It sprays water and everything but no wiper movement. The rear wiper works ok as well. Any suggestions on what could be wrong. Its for a r33 gtst.

Checked the wires going into the little motor things?

Take em out and shove a test light into the plug and see if it comes on when you turn the wipers on. If it does it has to be the motor.

All fixed guys. Turned out to be a faulty fuses i guess but i put higher rating fuses in 25 and was fixed. Seems strange

Not usually a good idea. The fuse is there to protect everything. Putting a higher rated fuse increases the risk of damage before the fuse goes.

Why not just stick a 6" nail in there?

Replace it with a correct rating fuse.

Not only do you risk damage to the parts it supplies (ie: a small fault will lead to a big fault because the supply of power has not been cut), but also damage to wires and worse case may lead to a fire.
