Has any body heard about "Green Stuff" Brake pads?? i heard that they are really good they retail for around for about  $160 an end.

just heard of them and wanted to know if any one had any pro or cons about the "Green Stuff" product range

cheers..

I've been using EBC Green Stuff's on the front and EBC Black's on the back of my R32 for the last couple of years and love em. I'm also using their EBC Sports Rotors on the front which have big out-gassing slots and blind drilled holes ( no periferal cracking like through drilled rotors eg. DBA ). Have done about 11 track days on em ( plus daily driving ) and they're still very good.

For: Quiet ( No squeeling ), Low Dust, great bite and pedal feel.

Against: Slight ticking noise when cruising and more expensive than Bendix ( Paid around $220 for the front pads ) Also, hard to find seller ( does anyone know who sells them in Sydney ??? )

Used Bendix Ultimates before these and was not impressed as they became noisy, very high dust output and wore out VERY FAST. That's just my expeience but other's think they're OK.

Sounds like a fancy heading but not really

I just bought myself some DBA 4000 Slotted rotors and am trying to work out what brake pad will best suit the rotor

Driving style is generally pretty laid back eg cruising not much heavy braking but on the same token the reason why i got these is to obviously help pull me up them few meters that might save a few hundred $$$.

Does it actually matter what brake pad i get for them or are they all fairly unversal eg doesnt matter if its for slotted or standard...

options so far (without looking into it to much)

Bendix Ultimates (have heard they are dusty but most are)

race brakes now not sure exactly what sort but yea any particular recommendations.

Any advise would be appreciated

Oh and as for answering this question....... IMHO, the Bendix Ultimates should suit your requirements

Don't forget to change the brake fluid every now and then also :uh-huh:

hey fat32 cheers for the info and yea my main reason for getting ultimates is i know i will not be doing any track days or if i do it would like 1  and yea brake fluid change will be done when i put the rotors on.

i managed to get lucky as a guy at super cheap fudged up the price and then he had to give them to me at that price :D i managed to get the pair for $400 :D

but the closest to that i got was $440 for the pair

the rest was around 450 - 470
