Aus R32GTR where has my transfer case cooler gone?

So not happy. Have looked high and low for the transfer case cooler under my Aus Delivered R32, and cannot find it. One would think that it would stand out like a sore thumb on the drivers' side rear right? I've even got the nissan diagram that shows what it looks like, and where it is… and it is so not there.

So, why would someone remove it, and sell it? Can I get a replacement? What are they worth? Are they of any use anyway?

It's possible it could have been damaged or the pump failed and it was easier to remove rather than fix due to the expense involved. Of course there are all sorts of more sinister possibilites as well........

Getting a replacement in terms of OEM parts is likely to be v expensive, even if they are still available (I'd say unlikley). Considering the cooler was only offered on the 100 Oz spec GTR's I'd say the chances of finding one S/H are pretty small as well....perhaps try Gibson motorsport (I think they were the one's that built the original Grp A race cars ??). I suspect fittng an aftermarket unit would be a more viable option.
