I was looking under my bonnet toay before the oil change and notived the little screw bit in the middle of the top of the shock.

Now it sure looks like it can screw in and out but as I'm a total newbie when it comes to suspension, can someone tell me if that's what it's for?

..and if it's recommended?

Thanks guys :coffee:

Birnie;

If you have stock shocks do not twiddle anything on the top unless the spring is compressed with a spring compressor tool. The nut you see screws onto a shaft that holds the spring hat that holds the spring. Unscrew this nut and the whole spring assembly gets loose, particulary if you drive it.
