That proggie, latte' housie stuff can go and get fffffar away. Its not worth the ticket price.

HOWEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you've got Scott Alert, Richie Braic, Jeremy K, Jewelz, Compound, Master Kaos and Midro all on same bill, the ticket price makes more than perfect sense.

They're hopefully gonna drop some wicked hard stuff as is their style

Forget the internationals guys, get along to see the locals.

No, the whole scene has simply evolved and been created into something the current crowd want it to be.

In fact I hazard a guess that the whole scene is now so far removed from what it was 11 years that the two are now strikingly different.

Gone mainstream and commercial, yes, downhill, never!!!

I'd even wager that the added variety of events, clubs and parties available mean that finding something specialised to float your boat is way easier these days.

Personally, I'll take Hard Kandy, PHD and things like the Tidy Tour or the Pharmacy parties. :jump:

Leewah, I'm going as well to Ferry Corsten as part of my birthday gig that weekend.

It was a joke, I was just playing up the jaded raver cliché... (hence -->:) )

I saw CJ Bolland at The Palace/Bass Station at the end of last year and it was simply awesome, mixing on three decks, there were probably 30 seconds where he had only one track in there. Simply the best thing I have ever heard! It has definitely moved onwards and upwards.

Something about that room...seems to work for me. Maybe it was the lasers!

Anyway, let's not hijack...

Nothing will ever beat The Mansion..... but thats BESIDE THE POINT.

Stop whoring my B'Day thread with dance music genre debates and start filling it with general whoring of people who are coming to share a beer, wine, burbon, scotch or vodka (be it normal, sloeberry or shoeberry) or in leewahs case - water. (He doesn't drink ok!)

Plus, I can gaurentee the music at Spy will be 20 times better than anything at QBH anyways because I SELECTED IT ALL!!!!!!!!

LOL for who didnt know who Ferry Corsten is, you guys are out of it! he's an international trance DJ, been around for years.. I've seen him DJ live several times.. the best was at Salt nightclub in 2000.

Anyway I'm not into trance as much these days, I still love my progressive house tunez though :) so I dont know about going to Ferry Corsten... but I'll definitely drop in to Spy Bar to have a few drinks with the Team Wang crew to celebrate Andrew's Bday!

ps. Mansion used to r0xoR! ;)

I'm going to Ferry on the 20th too.

If any of you guys see me i will be wearing a solarstone promotional t-shirt, anyone with one of those shirts on will know me (Patrick) so if anyone wants to say hi feel free.

If anyone needs tickets i can get my hands on a limited number of industry tix for ~$40 ea.

But when ever I see you at Hard Kandy you're always out the back in the chill out room, usually rather mashed and not looking like you can dance at all. :elaugh:

      Is rebuilding it even a thing? Where would the shop find parts for it? I looked at some off these local online stores for my r34 and suprisingly they had brand new aftetmarket ones for $600-800 I think. I guess r32 might be a bit tougher.

      They do. The pale yellow translucent ones from Japan were .... I dunno. Useless? Whiteline and SuperPro are probably fairly similar. There's bound to be a range of different hardnesses amongst the dozens of options on the market. The simple fact is that the pineapples don't get up inside the bush at all. They just sort of exist in the space between the washer/bracket and the subframe's bush outer tube, and...exert a bit of force between them? Or something like that. I'm sure that with enough provocation, they will simply allow one to move wrt the other.

      I'm not sure they came in different hardnesses? Going from memory only - I had set them up in the balanced setup. I also have poly bushes, so I have both poly bushes and pineapples. This is what my memory tells me at least. I'll have to take a look under there to be sure. The tramp was so bad that I managed to eject/kill a diff bushing, so those I know are stock. The tramp is bad enough that you are 200% sure you are doing severe damage to the car. It's not just chirping or vibration, it feels like you're hitting a speed hump/kerb 10 times a second. The issue has persisted between subframes! (I went from Hicas to non hicas subframe and replaced every bush a few years ago now) so I'm entirely lost. Every arm is factory.

      Can recommend the Frenchys kit, been using it 2 years now with no issue, very happy with it.  Only thing for me was upgrading the thermo fan but I am super fussy on cooling.   Also interested in electric AC, partly for boot mount to have a clean bay and partly would love the idea of cooling off the car before i get in. The battery setup to do that might be tricky / expensive though.  Found this an interesting watch.
