some great discussion going on here guys!

anyone got any more comments?

i'm thinking of taking my coil packs out this week to give them a coat of aryldite + electrical tape (read the thread in the maintenance section about it) and if its still missing then changing the plugs again. I don't think its a gap issue as it happens at idle and not above 4000rpm like most missfires...

haven't heard anything from Sydneykid yet... were are you, gary?

Its normal for RB20DET's to pop a little on idle.

Mine pops a little and still does with the RB30DET.

On the dyno the AFR's on idle are a perfect 14.7:1.

You can richen up the mixture slightly, this solves the slight pop on idle.

im saying that a auto at 12psi and 136kw is farken great im also sayinying that u can put 15psi in a fact turbo and it will have no prob, predator obviously u have had trouble in your time or bad luck ,going by your threads.post your dyno sheet!! boy

I was pulling around 180rwkw with 10psi on my (sold) r33.. any further than that did not show any gains in power. At times over the near 2 years I had it, I had it tuned (only via SAFC unfortunately) for 10psi, 11psi, 12psi, and 14psi I think at one point - none of which showed any noticeable increase in power other than bragging rights "FullSiK im jUz runnin 16pound b00st maan aNd itz kRaZy!".

I found 10-12psi was more responsive and better to drive, winding it past that was just a pointless exercise.

I know this sounds a little dodge, but I remembered I gave all the old dyno charts to the new owner .. there a few on the forums about the place though: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...363&postcount=8

if only the old attachments worked :spank:
