What do you guys think about all the cars that used to be RB's being swapped to SR? It's getting popular here in japan, and I've had an SR cefiro, and it was great for drifting, but i still missed to top end of the RB. If i'm gonna go through the work of changing the title, i might as well go for a RB25. What do you guys over there thinking about this new trend?

puttin an RB25det in my R32 to convert it from an HCR32 to an ECR32  so I'm all for the new trend ;)

then again, I've seen a ceffy featured in Option way back in 1997 that had an RB25DET in it

Im leaning towards the RB25 conversion atm, only because I think in the long run its going to have less hassles than a RB30/26 franken engine. But god damn 3L-3.2L would haul!

BTW I dunno if rbs have top end :spank: The LS1s get me up in top end, like they just walk away.

perth has a facination with rb20/rb25 in cefiros/silvias/180s

they like skylines AND silvias so much they did an rb20det powered silvia with r32 front end

i saw that... isnt that one of lozzles mates?

pay special attention to the fact that the contour lines have been grafted into the R32 panels to make it flow with the rest of the 180's panels... now that's attention to detail. Interior was immac, and was 1989 build. Was listed as a wrecking car because the engine had siezed... so we trucked it from the joint and its currently awaiting a ship, but since customer cars get priority it might be sometime next year before we see it in the flesh.
