Hey Guys,

Does anybody have any wiring diagrams for the stag's? i started putting an alarm in today when i realised that i have no idea where any of the needed wires are... :confused:

wires should be the same as an R34 :

here's a wiring diagram for a jap one... might help..

Just don't wire it up wrong, or this might happen...

I have just had a Viper alarm fitted to my C34. It was reported that the wiring was 'the same as an R33' . So based on that it shouldn't be too hard to determine the factory wiring for an alarm.

It looks like the Series 1 cars really are a '33.5' setup - not quite R33, not quite R34.

can anyone confirm if the series one and series two ecu plugs are the same? just not sure due to different trans and change to neo engine

ECU plugs are definitely different, according to the list I have cars later than 9/98 have the new type plug, and this is listed as the same as the R34 GT/GTT plug so that must be the NEO/series 2 changeover date. Note that all years of the 260RS and GTR use the earlier type plug (same as all R32/33's).

The doco I've got showing the different plug types came from this forum, it is a doco from Blitz.

Nope, nothing like a R33..

In a Apexi SAFC2 wiring manual diagram that I've got, it lists (and pictures) the R34 rb25det 98.5 to 01.5 year/month, to be the same wiring diagram and plug as the Stagea rb25det 96.8 to 01.10 year month.

So I'm more confused now...

Err, I have Stagea ECU connector for cars 10/96 to 8/98 (series 1 I guess) listed as the same as the R33 (and R32 for that matter)?

So it looks fairly straightforward to me, Stagea series 1 = R33/32, series 2 = R34, with the exception of the 260RS = GTR.

Bah, tried uploading the PDF doco showing this but it is too large (320kb). Will try to find where I got it from....

Maybe there was too different types. Not sure why they would do it though.

I had my car in at the work shop about 6 weeks ago to get a piggyback installed. I gave them a picture and pin out for a R33 ecu thinking they would be the same. They rang me a few hours later to tell me that the ECU in my car was nothing like the picture I'd given them and they couldn't work out what it was !

Hence why I did a bit of research, and it seemed that it was the same as the R34's.

I think I REALLY confused now !

hey guys i got a non neo series 1 and my plug is totally different to r33 one for sure, not sure if its same as r34 though??

I agree with you Jay. The instructions for my RSM say Stagea is the same as R34. I installed it as such and it worked O.K.

Perhaps post up which model of Stagea you have (S1/S2, neo, non-neo) and which ECU connector (BN-1, BN-6) you have to verify or otherwise the info in this doco!

but just wanting to know what wiring diagram I shoul use for an RB25DET 4wd (RS4 Stagea loom)
