Intercoolers ??? which one

Hey, im just thinking about getting a new intercooler to my r33 as soon as i get it pretty much, not much a fan of stock intercoolers, as you can always improve on things like that. anyways, what sort of intercooler should i be after? are hybrid coolers any good ? what sizes should i be getting also.

What sort of boost can i run on stock everything minus the fmic? safely.

hey a hks one i don;t think you will go wrong with any of them but don;t go for the apexis they have too much presure drop

For the money outlaied for the hybrid coolers they are brilliant........From what you have said you don't plan on building a 1000+ hp machine so the hybrid coolers will do the job nicely.

I would also suggest getting an exhaust before you start upping the boost.......once you have pod and pipe and cooler, run UP TO 1 bar MAX.......your turbo has ceramic wheel so anything higher may cause problems.

with the pod cooler do you mean pipe the cooler line into the pod? sorry, i own a v8 and have forgotten alot about turbo's and there works.

just get a pod filter, with a box around it and a pipe running from the front bar up to the filter to get more air rushed to it...

i have a hybrid front mount and for $1000 it was perfect, worth every cent, nengun has the HKS type R coolers for like 1400-1500 but if u dont have any major plans for this ten just get a hybrid kit locally and that is great,

with cai, pod, exhaust, cooler, 10psi and a dyno tune u would be getting around 170-180rwkw (i have same mods and have gotten 173rwkw)

dont go over 12-13 with the stock turbo coz as said the ceramic wheel wont like it...
