1987 Nissan Auster xtt

5spd man

ca-18det (rebuilt 10,000kms ago)- have receipts

full elecs, adjustable susp, super tough polyurethane engine mounts, highflow muffler, good tyres, new rego, just been serviced, sun roof, pioneer stereo with remote, tinted windows, good interior.

during rebuild (4.5k), the turbo was checked and there was no shaft play. Could use some new spark plug leads but runs well. excellent condition for an '87. The only one of its kind in Perth as far as i know and ive checked.

Looks teh same as above but with matt black s14 5 spoke wheels.

Asking around 4.5k but am negotiable. Prefer Perth Buyer unless you wanna pay for shipping.

Wouldnt sell it but i lost my license so i cant use it anymore and it would be a shame to see it just sitting there, good bang for buck ratio.

Found some more pics at http://www.g-root.jp/buyandsell/catalog/ni...an/index10.html

Ok gauging interest once again as the new car is on the boat over here, will arrive late june.

Price stays at 4 k and the rego has just been renewed again. Got those spark plug leads too. Lets not forget power seats as well of course.

Got some actual pics too.

Do you have any pics of the interior?

I'm interested, but just trying to figure out how I'd get it over here :D

Back of a truck or train would be the best option :P dont know what it would cost though.

Oh and i am aware that the floor needs a clean and that i suck at taking photos but this gives you an idea at least.

Yeh i ve heard TnT are the way to go for that kind of stuff. I think Dark is just kikin tyres though

She goes ok, got it while i was at Uni for a cheap bunky, served its purpose ok but took a good chunk out of the credit card to get back up to good nic. Gonna have nothing on the Integra type S thats on the boat over right now though. mmm luxo too bad about the N/a thing but hey what can i do, its a company car.

Ill be ready to sell this at the end of next week if someone make a reasonable offer.

I think Dark is just kikin tyres though

kinda yes, kinda no.

i turn 18 in less than a month.

so i need a car, but i'd like to see it before i buy it, which would be the only problem, and because of uni, i cant just take a few days off to come have a look :

Can u get somebody u trust over here to look at it? hey ill be glad to give u complete run down if u wanna PM me ure phone number.

yea, but parents arent going to allow me to get a car i haven't seen.

when it gets to my mid year break, and if its still not sold, i'll have to see if i can get up there and have a look.

U mean down here  or maybe over..... hmm all a matter of perspective huh.

Yeh its always good to at least drive b4 u buy. Ahh well, we shall see how we go eh.

U could get an RAC guy to go over it and give you a full report, i hear they do a good job. Remember its only a cheapy, ppl import stuff for heaps more than this that they have never seen before. My mate just got a GTiR and didnt realise the drving postion was so close. Go drive that purple blubird witht eh rb20 in, i think the bluebird was pretty similar.

Is this fwd or awd? Got any engine bay pics?

Its FWD

Dont mind that big pipe looking thing, thats just some experimental ducting i was playing with, nothing on the other end either.

    • Foreign debris, physical shock, boost leak, could be anything honestly. The danger in taking all the timing out of a tune/hitting the R&R corner is that even if the engine doesn't detonate your turbo is taking a lot of abuse from high EGT. Also, even if nothing goes wrong it is a journal bearing that is spinning at 100k RPM on boost. Eventually it goes through enough cold start/pressure cycles to wear it out.
    • I kinda accidentally saw this, and was interested, but It actually seems to replaces the whole center computer, using the existing screen and buttons. AND it may only be for a G37 and not compatible with a Japanese 370. So its not for me, but someone else may be interested to look into it. Its about $680USD. If I am understanding it right, it basically replaces/installs and android pc that integrates with the existing screen. But I could be wrong. https://gromaudio.com/vline/ The video I first saw was the following, with very little and unclear details.     Even if your not interested in the system, the video on their site was pretty comforting in showing how simple the whole centre comes out
    • hfygrte52 what side you looking for? Do you care what color car it's off? Found a white LH side on here: https://skylinespares.com.au/product/nissan-skyline-r33-coupe-rear-tail-light/   Aussie parts place but will ship to USA. Maybe get it before there's a tarrif on 25yo shit box parts
    • I’m with Shannon’s for all 5 of our cars. Agreed values seem fair, premium price is okay. ($210 ish a month, all comprehensive).  Have claimed once with them for a not at fault claim with another car where my car had no damage. Was one call after the incident and an email after. Deemed not at fault so premium didn’t go up either.    I have called up and spoken with people who are not familiar with certain cars and didn’t agree with me on value or let their personal vehicle preferences effect the call. But called back later and got someone else who was more agreeable.
    • It is an absolute lottery. They can and have died at stock boost with low usage at all. The turbos are now anywhere up to 36 years old!
