had the same problem with them. We wanted to order over $10 000 in parts for our current project and no reply. So we are looking elsewhere.

I have to say that in my own experience Brent from Nengun has been great. I ordered a part off him that he'd offered on special at below cost, it arrived every so slightly damaged, I sent him an email saying that I wasn't happy, he then sent me a replacement by EMS direct from Japan all without any cost to me, it was all sorted in good time too. He would have certainly made a loss on that deal with me, but I will certainly buy more stuff through him. The email response can be a little slow at times, but he may be in transit etc.

Sorry that his service wasn't so good for you guys, but I'm sure he'll sort out the refund.

hmm that sounds shonky as... especially the getting a stock fuel pump in a nismo box i mean wtf.

i was gonna buy some cams from him but that sounds dodgey as ... i thought he was meant to be good and heaps of people had ordered from him?

hmm

i had a recent bad experience with nengun...

rip me off with the apexi gtst intake kit....

it doesnt come with the adaptor [as it was stated before i complain and he change the site to say "no adaptor required"]

meaning u bolt the filter straight in to the amf... too close to the amf for my confort.....

if u look carefully the filter [for $50] codes are the same as the gtst kit for $100..

jst a note...

I can see this thread turning into a good vs. bad Nengun thing-I personally have nothing but praise for Nengun so far-but,please:can anyone help GZ R33 out with a contact phone number as he's asked?

As for Brent(Nengun) passing up on 10K worth of orders?!

I've got nothing but good things to say about Brent from Nengun. Everything we've ordered has been delivered in the time that he stated.

I ordered coil packs last Tuesday and they were delivered today less than one week later.

I've previously ordered PowerFC, AVCR, Apexi FMIC, Tomei Cam Gear and Splitfire Coil Packs.

I've had to wait since September to get hold of the coil packs because of high demand, but I was willing to wait and go through Brent. I could have gone elsewhere but I'd rather give Brent the business.

Brent has been pretty good for me....ordered 3 seperate times. At time little slow but parts seem to arrive no problem. I'm currently tracking my 3rd order from jp.

But i usually find to contact him is better via his website instead of emailing him.

Don't forget really he is just a middle-man to the suppliers. If the suppliers are slack or out of stock, then you're not going to get the items. From what I gather, he wouldn't carry anything in stock in any sort of store himself. You put an order in, he goes and places it with the supplier on payment at your end.

If you are lucky he gets part quickly wherever he is, sends it onto Australia, and then customs looks at it, might hold it for a few weeks (just for fun), slaps tax on it and then you get it in your hot little hand.

If not you don't get part for long time, you bitch and whinge, then come on here :)

If you want your parts cheap, then you have to be prepared to wait AFIAC.. otherwise, buy locally.

I remember for my order, one part was easy to get, the others were a holdup, which delayed the whole order. That is how things work in the "you want it cheap, you don't have stock" world.

My order took about a month, but I was prepared to wait.. wait good.. make you eager for goods.. prepare long before you actually do vitally need them Confusious say you do...mmm?

It's all good about waiting but what about the people who have been sent nothing with no reply?

I mean a few people have said they've never received the goods, they were never sent the goods and didn't receive a refund and no reply?

what the... i remember about 3months ago i started a thread if i should buy from nengun and about 40 people said yeah they'd all been dealing with them and it's no problem.. now i just hear this guys not reachable and the stuff is wrong or not being sent. I just find that strange.

It's all good to wait, I mean things do happen in just-in-time stocking procedures but if you're the owner of the business you need to tell your customers what's going on.. also if you have money that you haven't sent stock out for.. you'd think you'd notice no?

i have bought heaps of parts from Brent such as turbo kit, intercooler kit, injectors, cam gears and etc...i never have any problem with Brent...i believe he is a responsible person. anyway, just wait for a bit more and see what happens~~~!!!

raz0r$harP: can you post the web address for Greenline...just want to compare the price with nengun..thanks

    • Back in January, I noticed my car felt noticeably weak. I had the injectors cleaned, which seemed to solve the problem -- until now. Recently, the car suddenly lost power again while driving. Suspecting the injectors, I brought it to the mechanic. He recommended replacing them entirely, saying the current ones were getting unreliable and fiddly to work with. I could not find a direct replacement for my current injectors. The closest match I found were 440cc injectors. This led me to look into the possibility of upgrading -- and of course, that would mean remapping the ECU. From my research I found: The OEM Part numbers are 16600-72L20 and 16600-72L21 Both the RB20DE and RB20DET use the same 270cc injectors. There are much better options out there over the old OEM injectors. Nistune could be a viable tuning option. While the RB20DE isn’t explicitly listed on their site, the ECU is essentially the same as the GTS-T version - just with a different map. The ECU code on mine is listed as supported. One concern is finding a tuner who works with Nistune. Aftermarket ECU like Haltech and Link, but this would be the most expensive choice (and possibly overkill for a mostly stock RB20DE) I admit that I am very new to the tuning scene and would appreciate any insight or recommendations regarding this.   These are some SAU links where I got some of my information from for reference: https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/380324-rb20de-injectors/ https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/477396-factory-270cc-injectors/
    • The inspectors are not forensic by any means but if you forge your documents and/or badgings on vehicle parts and are found out, the consequences are just far bigger than if you just run illegal parts. And their job quite literally is to cross reference what parts you got installed and what your papers say you got. Something as silly as your suspension being 1mm too low will fail you. Nonetheless I asked if someone knew the damn pipe and I certainly did not ask for smartassery or underhanded comments, no idea why you need to be told this. Great way to waste both our time.
    • As useful as you explaining what forgery is... But then again, I wasn't aware your inspectors were also forensic experts and inspect nameplates on each component to confirm everything is original. They must inspect roughly 3 cars a year at that rate. You're right though, my comment doesn't help you in anyway, so I'll go talk to my wall now. Cheers.
    • Say that to the guy that is going to fail your inspection or tow your car for illegal exhaust modifications. If you have anything else useful to say, please go tell your wall.
    • You must be fun at parties.
