Have to agree with Seb on this one all the way. The government here does not want competition for the local car industry. You can see how they suck up to these companies when the industry is suffering by giving them money etc etc.

The government has tried to limit the import industry by limiting compliance plates and making compliance generally more expensive. The insurance companies can also give the government a hand in this by making insurance premiums ridiculously high for import cars. It turns people off buying them.

They would rather us all be driving the Turbo V6 falcon or something else built in Australia.

Only reason N.Zealand is good, is because they have no local car industry.

Morning guys.

Well I've had some time to think about it over night (read time to calm down and evaluate..) and I've decided to NOT sell my car and to go with the quote I got from Famous last week.

After doing the math its only another 15 dollars a week on what I was already paying anyway. I'm not losing a major enjoyment in my life for 15 dollars a week. stuff that!

Apologies to anyone I was short with yesterday, bit emotional over it all.

So the final verdict is the Zilla stays and sebaz pays.

You guys won't believe this.....

I've just had the last broker I spoke to come back to me with a price under 2K!!!!!! from a an insurer we all know and now are showing the lovin to famous. I can't understand it but I'm not complaining one bit. when I asked them they said 3K. I'm a little sceptical but am no way complaining.

I'm seriously shocked. no one jinks me... I'm getting the paperwork sent through as I type this!!
