gday my car ahas recently hit 100,000kms and it has started making a terrible noise wen it comes on boost and starts to spool up. wen it hits 2,500 it makes a rattling then at 3 and over it makes a deafening metal scrappping on metal or something noise and the car kinda doesnt pull that hard nemore

but im getting it serviced tomorrow at my dads mates place NISSPORT. But im just wondering what the hell it could be?

Never had it happen but I'd put my money on a busted turbo.

No problem, just a great excuse to buy a bloody big replacement turbo.

Make sure your manifold bolts are all done up properly, and gaskets are all ok around the exhaust manifold. A leak between the head and the exhaust manifold causes sounds much like what you describe there!!! The sound can be caused by the two metal surfaces being shaken around by higher pressure exhaust pulses when you start hitting boost, but more likely to not be a problem under "normal" load.... might be noticable as a slight exhaust leak though.
