Warning- not a cop bagging thread!

Those of you who know my car realise that, while it's not a cop magnet, because of the exhaust and the Tofu stickers tends to draw some unwanted attention…

Was driving to work this morning towards the city, and was basically idling up to a set of red traffic lights. I noticed a cop bike with his red-spot special lights running, coming up in the right lane next to me. Because I had my window open, he gestures to pull over after the lights turn green, so I say 'OK'. Before the lights go green, I said to him that it was a clearway on the other side of the intersection, so did he want me to turn left at the lights and pull over… to which he asked 'what licence do you have. I'm wearing my suit, and tell him I'm on my blues, so he says, 'don't worry about it, have a good day at work!'. Now he could have reamed me for number plate, exhaust, ride height etc., but was just doing his job to enforce the power-weight law.

Just wanted to share my good experience with the police

Oh and before I forget, I got breath tested by the SAME bus within 1.5 hours on Sunday… duh!

some cops are honest at least

if it was upto me id make it the law that cops cant pull u up unless uve done something wrong.

if they wanna breath test ya, have a booze bus setup or otherwise he could pull u up if u were swerving all over the road drunk (which wouldnt happen with 99% here cos we have brains n hope to keep it that way)
