Intercooler Piping

i ave the intercooler piping off and have the luxury of finally being able to sort it out!! the piping is black with alot of scratches ect on it and looks really crappy. should i

a) respray it black (do i need to sand the original black paint back?)

or B) chrome/silver the piping

which would be best performance wise??

or any other suggestions??

Well one guy I know had his piping HPC coated so that none of the heat was lost under the bonnet and all of it was lost at the FMIC. It wasn't cheap though, from memory. Maybe someone else will be able to help you out here.

HPC is the go if you can afford it, if not get it powder coated as it looks good and lasts longer than paint and is cheaper to do than paint.
