Hey ppls.

Well, the time has finally come.

I've had a PowerFC sitting in my drawer at work for well over 9 months, and I've had a PowerFC boost control kit also sitting in my desk drawer for about 3 months.

Today, she's up on the roller to give it her all.

Was spurred into action by the good reviews of Genesis and the quite reasonable prices offered. Also, talking to Craig the tuner, he seems to know his stuff inside-out.

He used to tune for BGT/Hypertech and did 99% of the tuning on the Hypertech cars.

Anyway, I've attached a power run that was done yesterday on the dyno where it's being tuned so that I can get a good comparison.

One is boost again AFR and the other, Power against AFR.

Bass is a little excited today as you can imagine.

I'll put the new charts up as soon as I have them

BASS OUT

Okay,

At 7pm on Friday night, I made 200.4 rwkw from my baby.

I'm posting charts as soon as they are scanned.

Will also post a full report of the feel of the car sometime today.

BASS OUT

Hey ppls.

Well, please see below the dyno charts of my car making a bee's winky over 200 rwkW

Dyno was at Hypertech Automotive.

Time, was about 7pm last Friday afternoon.

I'm quite happy with the result and apparently, this dyno would read slightly higher in Shootout, but a dyno is just a tool anyway.

I'll be taking it down the strip as soon as I get a chance and I'll be aiming to get into the 12's

Craig from Genesis spent most of the time of the tune in the workshop putting in a base tune, then drove to the dyno. First Dyno, F1 Performance, left before we got there, even though they were booked. Second Dyno, Hypertech, we drove straight onto. They have a very very nice dedicated dyno room, all sound proofed and stuff. 4WD and the works. Drool.

Anyway, pulled probably 10-15 runs total, tuned in some lean cruise and that was that.

Car now idles much better (was a bit rough before due to the flywheel) and pulls cleanly. Has an urgency to it now and comes on boost and stays on boost like a champ.

I had the actuator and boost control kit fitted and it holds the 11psi no problem.

AFM is within a couple of percent of maxed out at about 5500rpm, so it's a new one of them for any more increases in grunt.

So, all in all I'm a happy chappy.

BASS OUT

Nice result Bass. :D

Tell me the AFR graph - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/at...achmentid=26047

Is that the cruise mixtures before and after? After being the 14.?

Keep us updated with fuel economy figures. :D

I'm keen to see how your 60ft goes with all that extra wheel spinning power. :(
