my first post .. :) hey everyone

Im looking to buy a 32 GTR soon and was wondering if you guys have any information about them. I used to own a Nissan 180SX CA18DET before and now i drive a 94 MR2 GT n/a around. I am 22 so im off my P's .. so looking to go back into the turbo world now :)

My budget is about 24k ... and i really want to try the RB26DETT skyline.

Just have a few questions for you!

1) Are they as good as people regard them? I know they come with 206kw and can breake low 13's stock, but what about reliablity for a 15y old engine?

2) When do the t28's max out? What power would i have to open up the engine? What boost do the turbos die at?

3) Whats the fuel consumption on these things?

4) Will i be able to get into mid-low 12's with bolt on's such as exhaust, pod's and boost up?

5) What should i look out for when buying one?

Thanks for your time ...

Chris

They are very good but very expensive to maintain , make sure you have spare cash to rebuilt an engine if you get a dog .( 5-8 k)

Stock car mid 13 1/4 mile , with bolt ons the sky is the limit but be prepared to swap turbos or steel wheel them , ceramic turbos keep them bellow 14 psi .

I have an r33 , the only mods are , stock n1 turbos ( 1.2 bar with ebc ) front pipe + catback , power f/c and intercooler pipping ( one pipe burst ) with stock cooler , stock injectors ( on limit ) , stock airflow meters ( limit ) with stock airbox .

I have run 11.7 twice before they booted me @121 mph , the car is good for mid -low 11's with a good 60 ft .
