well up here in bundy, last thursday night they took about 6 cars in a 2 hour period, new hooning legislation - 1 was sitting in my car and a guy in a 180 drove past - changed gears and his POD made the sound they do - not even loud - motobike cop fined him about the noise - ridiculous

As long as you sit down for it ,it will continue. You have to bite the bullet and contest the stupid ones....and ALWAYS write a letter of complaint when the officer is rude, uncouth or aggressive, to the Po;ice Commisioner, with a copy to your local member, the RACQ and the editor of the Courier Mail. Would probably only take a few dozen of them to start something happening. I would not accept the parking light thing. You could check your lights and have a globe blow 5 minutes later.
