R32 Sedan Tail-lights Ser.1-2 difference?

Does anyone have pics of the later R32 sedan tail-lights so I can compare them to my '89 ones?

To my knowledge they are all the same.......i could be wrong though, has been knwon to happen. Try google images, should come up with something

series 1 have a ridge in them that follows the contours of the guards thru to the boot split, wheras series 2 are flat and have no ridge, the lights are also slightly (raised/lowered) or the other way around.

I'll tell you conclusively when I see a set which should be in the next couple of days.

My series1 doesn't appear to have a ridge. It's perfectly smooth.

Yeah, I've heard that in the Series 2 the circles are recessed a bit.

then i must've had them the other way around. i know one of em has a ridge and the other dosen't so the S2 must have a ridge and the s1 is smooth.
