Skylines have have this as do all imports due to the speed cut imposed on japanese domestic cars, they are only supposed to do 180 thus they dont need to put any more numbers on the dial!! You cant get cheap 300k speedos they are all pretty dear, id suggest unique autosports if you did seriously want one!!

I got a nizmo 320 or 340km/h speedo on mine. Came with the car and I checked out the price for one. No way I would get one myself personally. Get the Apexi RSM if you want to see yourself go over 180km/h. You get the bonus of removing the limiter.

someone offered me $90 for a set of skyline white speedo face, he said can do 320 face as well... this means your whole speedo cluster (tacho, boost, fuel, etc)

however the question is, if the electronic behind the face is a 180 speedo, what will be involved in changing it to suit 320 km/h face????

you'll need to get either an aftermarket ECU or piggyback unit which can do a speed cut, or something like an RSM. If you wait a month you can guy my HKS Speed Cut Defender which will also do the trick.

I know abt speed limiter, but my question is:

If I change my speedo face to 320 one, while the electronics behind it is standard 180 speedo, how can this be recalibrated?

Otherwise, if the needle shows speed of 320km/h, it is actually only 180km/h in real life because I only change the face plate, not the whole system... (think as if someone just stick a sticker dial 0-320km/h on top of your speedo)
