looking for spare central door lock actuator..

Know any one who has spare one of those(left over from alarm/door lock install?), or know where I can buy one actuator instead of the whole central door lock kit?

this old one only want to move about 1 to 2cm..

I got one for the drivers door for keyless entry for $25 from the local car radio joint...

$25 is rather steep .. for about $50 can get the kit at dicksmith with 2x5wire and 2x2wire actuators plus extra stuff.. hmm

I think Brisbane car sound and strathfield have some cheapies for like 10bucks....

Yeah I had the same problem, had it for about 6 mths now, finnally got up off my lazy ass and strolled round to my local hero's place who just happened to have one spare.

strutto also said you can get them singly from Jaycar, it is so wonderful having central locking again

he reckons the actuator wears out after a few years.

now theres still the problem of actual door lock/handle too stiff and unable to fully lock/unlock by the weak actuator arm.
