Ive been reading that they are putting on single and twin turbos onto the 350z and infiniti. (probably been doing it for a while)

Has anyone got performace figures on these.

Im assuming they would outgun a stock R34 GTR

Does anyone know of someone who has turboed their Zed??

Reason I ask is Im thinking of going down this path rather than getting an R34.

cheers

Oz.

Lots of options:

* HKS do a supercharger kit

* APS do a twin turbo kit - http://www.airpowersystems.com.au/350z/350z.htm

* Xspeed in Perth did a twin turbo - http://www.xspeed.com.au/ssport/35z33/index.html

Personally, I believe that you have to spend too much money to do it properly.

At the end of the day, it (probably) won't have the power and (definately) won't have the traction of a mildly tuned R34 GTR. Also, the GTR will be much easier to sell.

nizpro in melbourne have a tt zed 33 was at autosalon and like above i forgot the power figure but it was monstrous. the xspeed one in perth is freakin awesome "It makes 450 horsepower at the wheels on 1 bar of boost and has the economy of 10 litres per 100 kilometers in cruise mode."

Hmmm well you can pick up a track for about $60k, $13k for a APS TT kit and $7k probably for other bits. You are looking at $80k for a 2003 model car with 300rwkW.

Try getting a 2002 GT-R on the road in Australia for that much.

p.s. 350Z looks much more modern and as mentioned, there is no replacement for displacement (p.s. yes I saw the smilie)

The X-Speed job is nice but a lot of work is the least you could say let alone the money.

The mate is bringing a V35 Coupe back from Japan and is getting the Supercharger kit from America, from what he has seen in Japan,
