r33 cd player

just lately every time i put a cd in the standard cd player it reads it for a couple of seconds (i hear it spinning) and spits the cd out

could it be something to do with the fm expander (loose connection or something)??

Laser could be dirty. All CDs could be dirty or scratched (unlikely I know). Try running a CD cleaner through it.

The FM expander is for the radio so it shouldnt affect the playing of CDs.

If its the stocky player just use this as an excuse to buy a new one !

I'll try to run a cd cleaner or a buy another one (thinking about it).

in regard to the fm expander, I just thought my be its shorting out or something (these thing are so crap, it maybe shorting out within itself)
