Restricting P's from powerful cars

Hey Guys,

Did any of you guys see the car thing on today tonight about restricting p's from driving powerful cars?

What do you guys think?

umm. there has been countless posts/polls/vents about this topic

imho, power restrictions should NOT be implemented.

why?

1) i'm a p plater lol..

2) it wont stop idiots hooning around .. remember, all cars are capable of reaching fast speeds.. an excel can still be a deadly weapon in the hands of an idiot

3) it will encourage more p platers to 'break the law' by removing their p plates

4) it probably wont do much.. look at vic and the amount of prohibited vehicles driven by p platers

5) driver education is the GO!

i know that if they "do" implement it.. i'm goin to do all i can to get exempted. !!

there should be a few ways according to vic roads (i'm in nsw but should be the same deal)
