not sure about the Hornsby area for mechanical work but if you wanted to right person to do the job surely you're prepared to travel within sydney?

i have no issue with travelling, however for convenience (i work in hornsby) I thought there might be a decent workshop around here considering how many mechanics there are located around here...

I went out to Advan on the weekend, they look very professional out there...

I also went to powerplay, (which is close to my house) how do they rate?

I will look into unique too.

thanks for the fast replies fellas.

Haven't used em but QuickFit in horsnby look like they are a very busy mob.

I went in there once and noticed a VL with a custom intercooler kit ( i assume they did) and it looked the goods!

As far as tuning goes, they like their autronics. Might be worth a call anyway.

fair enough :D

were you the guy who came to powerplay wanting the oil cooler???

no, i came in looking for an apillar gauge holder (oops sorry that was two weekends ago not last weekend).

You work there?

I used Quick Fit with my old R31 GTSX, they are very good with ECUs and tuning, actually they are the NSW AUtronic Agent and is a recognised and repsected tuner. That and they do plenty of custom engine transplants so mechanical/electrical things dont scare them.

Steve is definitely worth a try, or at least a conversation to see if he is the workshop for you

yeh I remember you coming in now..

yeh I work there part time

well in that case, I left a message that same afternoon on your phone requesting to be booked in for a service and the install of the parts i mentioned, left both of my numbers and never got a call back (two weeks ago). my phone is always on and with me so I am sure i never got a call back. I did however get really good service (joanne I think it was) and advice when i was in store. Might want to make sure there is some quality control with return calls as it lots you a few hundred dollars worth of business (I decided if they cant call me back they dont want my business). Not having a beef, just letting you know for future customers sake.

cheers
