any queries pm me or post in the thread.

all skylines welcome

Why do they charge $20 more for a 4wd power run than a 2wd?

I'm not going to mention that $60 for a dyno day event per car isn't the best deal either.

Simple brand new Dyno the front rollers then have to be setup and did you forget to check that on this dyno they do a mixture run first to make sure your car is happy enough to be run up . :)

yes you can get a dyno run for $35 here and there but this is on a saturday the workshop does need to pay bills, if i had a new dyno i would not charge $35 a dyno run its just not worth having one.

back in the day dyno runs were 50 - 70 for 2wd no matter where you went.

you don't have to come i just thought the 4wd people would like an option

cheers

Last year i went to a dyno day at AVO held by the Pulsar GTiR club and i paid $35 for 2 power runs on their 4wd dyno.

As for A/F mixtures, they check those during the power run anyway as well as listening for detonation all at the same time.

I still don't see why brand new dyno rollers have to be set up for every car, if its a case of moving the rollers a bit to adjust for different chassis/wheel lenghts, it only takes about a minute...
