Got a DEAD stock R32 GTR for sale

*DEC 1989 build (one of very few in australia, for the time being)

*56,000km on the clock (cant prove its right, but it looks like the car has very low km)

*Gunmetal grey

*Had engine rebuild in japan 11,000 km ago (why i dont know but it has!)

*Just freshened up the breaks (machine, and bendix ultamate pads all round)

*Just rebuilt clutch master cylinder and booster

*Just changed all fluids and filters top to bottom

*Rego for 10 months

*Everything works (excpt no a/c gas as it was degassed in japan, but ac does work)

*NO MODS!!!!!!

*Top of the range alarm with 3 point immobilizer just installed (works GREAT!)

Pics at http://chubby.nameserve.org/~mypics/gtr/

only probs with the car are:

*slight exhaust leak, Pretty sure its the gasket from the cat to the rear section of the exhaust

*wear on the drivers seat (very common)

*dint on left front guard can see in the 2nd pic, but only notice it if your looking for it.

Very nice clean car

Some questions and lots of "bumps"

Hey,

Is it privately imported or you are the second owner in Oz?

Might be interested but not for couple of months...

Cheers

    • Last year I got a set of MCA street coilovers for my turbo Forester after my son hitting a concrete gutter/wall on a small bridge causing the whole drivers side suspension to get bent because the rain just made the car slide out I love them, I think they were $2400. even had a hiccup of have the wrong hub configuration (my fault) so got onto MCA and they sent the correct shock ends overnight parts from QLD, for free!  I was very impressed with their customer service and quality of the product
    • They've had some weird failures on their brake actuators. One of them was because they added some kind of lubricant to the factory fill brake fluid that aftermarket brake fluid didn't have so it would affect the seals. Another was just mysterious, probably internal corrosion or something eating away at Prius brake actuators. Parts alone for those are a few thousand USD so not a cheap fix.

    • KYBs are typically twin tube, putting them in the lower tier of desireability. Do you just want to replace worn out ones for the lowest cost? I mean, you wouldn't just replace one end of a car, if the rears are a similar age to the fronts, then they are probably nowhere near what they should be, and likely won't be great against brand new fronts. So, to spend ~$800 on 2nd tier dampers, when you could get a decent set of MCA coilovers for <$4k.....? As to the strut tops. 1st up, the Sparesbox site specifically tells you that they are not correct for an R33. Beyond that, why do you think you need them?
    • That's not very Toyota of the Toyota!
