Still looking at buying a aftermarket ECU for my R33 GTST! So Whats the best Bang for your buck which doesn't skimp out on different options like slower processer speeds and more mapping points for tunning?:confused:

$1600. Unit is second hand, handset is new. Got it from Nengun. He's got a few for 33 gtst. I think about there too, maybe less.

Speaking of ECUs in Skylines..

I heard to reset the stock one you disconnect the battery and hit the brakes?

Is the brake trick to do with running whatever electricity is in the system dead? If so, wouldn't head lights use more power? That can also be done without turning the car on..

nizmokid, I just got a PFC for the same reasons as Silver-Arrowz. They have been able to get some pretty huge HP engines to run nicely on these things - but I suppose it is personal choice and to some degree your tuner's choice. As for second hand buying, got mine from an import dealer as they didnn't like selling them with the cars that they get in as they have to offer waranty with the vehicles and some people just cant help themselves when they get hold of a PFC handcontroller - cut a long story short, PFC and Handcontroller and boost solenoid - $1800 fitted. Just may be worth checking with the local imprt dealers first
