Thoughts on why my new b/c wont work?

hey guys,

i just fitted a trust phneumatic boost controller to my R33, i turned up the boost to about 6pound and when i gave it a boot the unit made a big whooshing sound (almost like a BOV) now the unit is cabin mounted, and threre is a small factory hole in the unit that the air is rushing out of. its obvioulsy meant to be there and apparently it bleeds of excess air? (so im told) but the car wouldnt really boost anyway, there was no power difference, but when i turned it to 7pound (limit of the factory boost gauge) it cut out, it almost felt like a rev limiter just slowed the car right down, you could also hear the car just die. i boosted it a few times and this happened every time. i have a mines ECU so this should remove the speed and boost cuts right? so i cant think of what is causing the car to seize under boost, but it must be something to do with the air rushing out of the controller? ive never heard of this happening b4 and it seems awefully strange.

Thats normal for the bleed valve to have air rushing out coz it's bleeding air off

ok theres that problem sloved, i guess the next question is: why does power cut out at 7psi or over? my mines ecu should have taken out the boost cut.

The factory boost gauge is'nt in psi and when it's on 7 thats roughly 14psi.Soory I'm not much help.

same is happeng to me, got the stage 3 hydrid elec boost cont installed,

and its set to min on all stages, but ma guage is showing 14psi. i removed the original solonoid completely.

any help? need to set min= 7 med=10= high= 14psi.

does the original solonoid need to be wired, and jst bypass the hoses?.....
