Odd request... Unknown Diff

Hey Guys, I just got my Cefiro registered only to find out the diff opens

Does anyone know what this diff would be? R32, R33, GTS-t, GT-R.... or even stock Cefiro.

Its an R200 diff, isn't it? same as 32gtr and a whole heap of other nissans over the years?

not all of them had limited slip centres tho, there's no way to really tell from the outside. Even if it started life as a LSD it might be worn by now

Based on the other stuff thats been going on with the car would you be surprised if the diff was open wheeling as well?

On a side note, thats a nice straight looking exhaust you have there.

Yes the exhaust is nice but too damn loud, I will be doing something about that in the not too distant future.

I think you'd have to open it or find some serial # wouldn't you?

This may be a stab in the dark but if the lube is really really really old don't they start to open wheel?

latest issue of HPI says that the stock ceffy diff is a R180 (but that was an 'atmo' ceffiro - whatever that means). I also heard that the info from these mags aren't really that accurate so don't quote me on that.

Mine was a factory RB20DET Auto I think... but its now a RB25DET Manual. Im really going to need a LSD if I want to get the power to the ground haha

not sure but either mines mounted much higher or is obscured a bit by the sway bar.
