In a GTSt it wouldn't be possible to have the awd system, because the chassis is different to GTS4's and GT-R's

Would be a better to carry the conversion out in a GTS4 (non-turbo with the awd system) :D

the purple "GT-R" Advan Racing in Syd (or was it NZ?) has was a GTS4, with full RB26 engine/gearbox transplant and fenders done to it ;)

Or you could swap the RB26 over, convert it to rwd (you can keep the gearbox, basically the same internally just the difference is the awd transfer case/diff/etc that's attached onto the GT-R box)

This is all related to the R33 btw

does the gts4 look exactly same as our 2door gts-t or are they only 4door ?

would i have to change the diff/gearbox ect in a gts4 or its same as gtr and wont break under hight power wid a rb26 in it ?

thnx again

33 GTS4s look the same as a 2 door GTSt, and they also came in 4 door sedans

Another thing to remember is that since they (GTS4) are non-turbo, they will have the 4-stud hubs and GTS brakes, meaning if you want to swap an RB26 in, a brake upgrade would be needed (brake upgrades are required here in Vic if you want to swap another engine in anyway, not sure about NSW)

You might as well swap the gearbox/diff and possibly the ATTESSA system as well~

An RB26 swap into an R32 GTS4 would be heaps cheaper and far more simpler and straight forward, because the drivetrain is basically the same as the R32 GT-R's..

Nissan fact: After seeing alot of their R32 GTS4s being upgraded to RB26 making a cheaper GT-R, Nissan changed the drivetrain in the R33 GTS4's and made them non turbo :) Same thing could possibly happen to FPV with their F6 Typhoon, being very similar to the Ford MkII XR6Ts, an ECU flash from the Typhoon and a bigger intercooler fitted to a MkII XR6T would make it a Typhoon on the cheap~!

R32 GTS-4's are Turbos and they're all TYPE-M's so they have the TYPE-M kit, brakes, steering wheel, etc. RB20DET with the GT-R 4WD. Bit heavier then the GTSt but they get the launch in a straight line, the cornering is sublime and I can pull away form WRX's in the wet.
