I was just driving home from the video shop and was driving down beeliar drive in beeliar WA and just ahead of me as i rounded the slight bend in the road was a car turned around missing most of its front end. There was anothe car that had stopped to lend a hand and I could not see another car until I looked up the road another hundred metres or so where the other car which was the one that hit the first car I saw was hard up against a large limestone retaining wall. I can only guess how fast this guy must have been going but he was another 150 metres up the road which at that point is on a reasonably steep incline so it must have been a fair speed.

From what I could gather from the female p plate driver of the first car she was trying to turn onto beeliar drive from the grange and this guy has come over the hill and round the curve where i had just come from and taken her out. She said when she checked there was no other car about and he just came out of nowhere. The guy in the other car was trapped pretty badly and was seriously injured I hope he pulls through ok.

I am pretty sure I have seen the other car around before and the last time I saw it the driver was moving pretty damn quick he must have been doing close to 100 in a 60 zone. The area where the accident occurred in a slight valley which is the point where the speed drops from 80 to 70 so I cant begin to imagine how fast the guy must have been going tonight.

All I can say to anyone on the roads is drive safe and watch your speed.

yeah i was pretty spun out i drive down that road same time every night so it was a bit of a shock

i think the girl will need counselling and the guy well I think that he will be in hospital for a while if he pulls thru good sign was that he was conscious even though he was trapped and bleeding badly.
