Clicking in climate control vent

Everytime I start the car, I hear this clicking sound... repeatedly.. like a vent gear is clicking or knocking against something. Im assuming the vent that switches/sways positions for defrost - upper - lower in the climate control system. However all these positions still work (as in air will flow out of the vents the climate control indicates) It clicks about 6-7 times then seems to either give up, or click into where its trying to get to.

Anyone had a simiar problem? or know where and how I can fix this. I've taken the dash apart but only the front cover nothing obvious there. The problem is deeper.

Its common in R33's... its an actuator or something on the heaterbox... you'll have to take out your whole dash to get to it, and i think the part from Nissan is about $200

Yup, very common, mine does it all the time... !

Seems like too much of a hassle to fix, so I'm not too worried!
