Installing FMIC on R33 S1 front bar

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has successfully or has attempted to hack out the front of a r33 S1 front bar after popping in a FMIC and how did it go? I know the Mspec/S2 one you cut out the middle bit and it looks real nice with the cooler all exposed - just wondering if you can do the same with a S1 bar? I've had a look at it but i want to see if anyone has tried it yet b4 i give it a go and end up needing a new front bar lol.

You can airsaw out the entire centre section. You might also need to hack some of the back bits of the indicators depending on the size of the cooler.

I"ve just installed one into mine, had to mangle it a bit but you can see the pipes sticking out and also the bottom of the cooler and it looks pretty awesome. The silicon hoses joining the pipes to the core bulge a bit so there'll be some difficulty trying to fit them neatly. Gonna get a new front bar at a later stage anyway so I'm not too fussed for the time being.

I have a bumper support that has been cut to fit FMIC for sale if you need it.

mine has been done about 2 weeks ago, the end tanks are pretty big so the indicators dont fit. Also have the middle bit hacked out. The cooler was put on and the bar was cut to fit. Doesnt look great but getting a new front bar soon.
