coolant hose broken somewhere?? HELP????

ok driving down the warrago highway towards brisbane and suddenly noticed the temp gauge doing up, pulled over and coolant was leaking out from under the inlet manifold area... there are i few hoses going through there. does anyone know what hose has split around there? car is a R32 GTS4.

fixing it tonight so any help would be helpful.

Exactly the same thing happened to me about a year ago, Id say it is one of the heat box lines, not easy to get to at all... don't know if that helps at all...

and it is a fairly common problem with 32s

There are some small hoses connecting the front of the manifold to the back and the turbo coolant line. Probably one of those. You'll need a little mirror and a lot of light. I've had 2 burst at different times.

There's also a metal pipe that runs from the top radiator hose joint to the manifold and connects in 2 places. Hope it's not that.

You have the car have a look and tell us!

Phuk hope it's not the inlet manifold gasket leaking....Run the car with water get a torch and a xtendable mirror and have a look.You will see water leaking from under the inlet runners if it is.And usually a white water stain from water/coolant drying.

There's 2 hoses under there. 1 is a short section, which could probably be rteplaced with any appropriate diameter hose. The other is a formed piece, and is probably only available from Nissan.

You can probably reach under the manifold and feel which hose is broken.

Have fun getting either of them off.

well.... it turned out it was a piece of pipe that was only 3 inch's long and had a hole in it.. took 4 hrs to get the bastard out and get new piece of hose and new hose clamps. its all good now, so thanks for you guys help.
