mmm... still ceramic. Time for it to come out. I had heard that some S2 R33's had steel wheel turbos, just thought the staj might have one of those. Oh well.......

Hi Ken, I have NEVER seen a standard RB25DET turbo with anything other than a ceramic turbine. Some have a plastic impeller (late R33 and all R34), but still have ceramic turbines.:)

Thanks for clearing that one up SK. Do you know what the staj was fitted with at the end of 96? plastic or ceramic? If it is plastic what sort of boost will she handle before delam?

He's not saying plastic OR ceramic, it's plastic AND ceramic.

Ie; The exhaust side (turbine) is ceramic and the impeller side (intake/compressor) is either plastic (late 33 and 34) or something else I dunno that part.

A 96 Stagea would have to have the something else impeller and a ceramic turbine.
