Hey just wondering if any1 had heard of MB Quart speakers and whether or not they are any good? Just put a deposit on some DSE-216 6 1/2 splits without really thinking about it!!! I usually restrict myself to the more well know makes and have kinda stepped out of the circle on this one! Any feedback will b much appreciated!!! Happy lining!! (i mean SKY-lining!!!)

Did you listen to them?

If you liked em then you should be happy regardless.

A few years ago they really were a real presence on the market but they seemed to be overwhelmed once the focal hype hit the streets. They are a good speaker though, I am not familiar with the models anymore.

I go the 5 1/4 inch discus series in my car, and MY GOD! I love them hey, I want to hug them every nite almost, they are so damn clear!

I really need the 6 1/2s for the music I listen to, so enjoy them. (ps, wanta swap for the smaller speaker  )

hahaha yeah i'll swap em for a frount mount!!!! sweet...i'm stoked that someone is happy with em!!! got the 6 1/2 components for 329 from a place called stylin audio in melbourne.....went there to buy an immobiliser and thats all....i took only money for the immobiliser coz i knew if i took my cards i would end up buying stuff that i can't really afford!!! immobilizer ended up being 50 bucks less than i thought so i put 50 deposit on the quarts.......always happens!!!

What range are they? When I got mine they had the top of the line 6 1/2s for cost price ($500 or something) if I had the extra $300 I would have got them. Id say thats a good buy. (espcially when my mate got a quote for $700 for some alpine things). Just the one tip Id have. Mount the tweeters lower rather than higher, I find them a little harsh at times.
