THEN!

put the r34 gtr wheels on..

and as you say ryan..

Its is possible, just expensive, Denzo from JMS did it to his 33, apparently its a matter of cutting off your rear quarters and re-attaching (ie weld) gtr ones on. Then smooth over with body filler. As for the fronts they should just bolt on from looking at them unless theres some attachment point that the GTS-t don't have. You could always try to making copies by molding up the guards with light alloy and they fiber glassing over them. I know the VIP guys from Japan love to do this. :D

yeah.. i know about Denzo's car.. i read it in Sp33d

but he says.. thet it was a hell of a job.. so i'm thinking the front ones would be easier... but the rear ones might be a lot harder...

or.. what about these...

GTS-T%20flare.jpg

i found them at Unique Autosports... www.nismo.com.au

then just go to a panelbeater or something and then mould them into the sideskirts that you have...

THEN.. r34 wheels

Those lip tack-ons look horrible!

Well you can the guards flared in any car... popular thing done on commodores and things for 20 years to fit wider rims so i can't imagine any pro panel beater having trouble doing it (at least fronts).

Seems like a heck of a lot of money/effort when there are plenty of other rims that *will* fit just fine.

It all depends on whether you intend on keeping your car a while. If you do then go do it, it looks awesome, cause for the money it costs you won't get back when you sell it. i'm not sure of the exact price so I'm just guessing here. I was considering buying a 4 door R32 gts 4 at one stage (before I bought the VL) and molding up the guards with fiberglass and body filler and a few light welds of a light sheet alloy and making something unique, to look like a 4 door gtr. If your dead set on having the rear guards ring a few good panel shops and they may be able to do some custom work. Other wise contact JMS ([email protected]) and ask, you may be able to get the guards for a reasonable price and get a panel shop to quote them fitted.

yeah, can't u just flare the guards which are already there?? if u can bang something back into shape, can't u bang something into a shape that u want??

here's a R34 GT-T, 4dr which has had the guards flare. Pretty spot on job....well at least i think they've been flared and nothing has been welded or stuck on.

that's a real GTR front bar, and if the front guards aren't flared, it ain't gonna fit.

'ylwgtr' was telling me about it. PM him if ya want, he was gonna mould me a R34 GTR front bar. So he might know about what to do with the guards.

Those guards are definately not flared and have had some serious mods to get them to look like that. All flaring and rolling of the guards does is take the inner lip of the guard and flatten it out. Then the guards are stretched outwards givving maybe a cm or two more width. No where near as much as that R34.

Tell me about it.

The r33 GT-R and r34 GT-R wheels are so goddamn sweet.

Unfortunately the 33 wheels are $2,500-$3,000... maybe...

Thanks guys.....Dark...mine was a GTST....The JUN kit made it look like a R. The R rim just fit prefectly, it's off 38 9" at front & rear. I preasonally scare that is too big for front...however, it's saft to put that on. It's my dream rim......I got it fm a friend's GTO which came w/ that..but it's not going to fit GTO...so he offer that to me.
